Join us this Friday (March 18) the Winter Evenings series concludes with an evening with actor, director, and entertainer George Woodard. When he is not working his dairy farm in Waterbury, George has produced and directed plays and films across the region. This Friday he will share the story of making the feature-length film “The Summer of Walter Hacks,” the tale of a boy coming of age in rural Vermont during the 1950s. All attending will be treated to his latest short film, “The Bad Robbers.” This is free to the public, with refreshments following.
Pasture Productions is the independent film arm of George's Woodchuck Theatre Company. You can read a little about the making of "The Summer of Walter Hacks" here, and you can even see a sweet trailer that gives you a flavor of the film here.
("The Summer of Walter Hacks" is coming to the Tunbridge Town Hall the afternoon of April 2!)
