We are so proud to announce our library was awarded a $20,000 grant from The American Library Association’s, Libraries Transforming Communities fund. This grant is specifically to help us create a library that is more accessible to people who are neurodivergent. While our proposal was filled with ideas of mindfulness programming, expansion of audiobooks and e-readers, cozy quiet spaces and noises cancelling headphones we love that we get to adjust and amend our ideas based on the feedback from the people who matter the most: YOU! Come to the library April 28th from 4-6pm to enjoy a calm evening discussing how we can best serve our neurodivergent population.
